Made from scratch
From the gravy to the granola, everything on the menu is made in our kitchen. Not a walk-in. Not a commissary. Our kitchen.
Our Story
The Biscuit & Bean opened in 2018 with one goal: be the kind of place Broad Ripple was missing — somewhere you could eat something made that morning and never feel rushed out the door.
We started small — one oven, a borrowed espresso machine, and a stubborn belief that a great morning shouldn't be hard to find. Word got around about the biscuits. Then the cold brew. Then the regulars who showed up so often we learned their orders.
We bake our biscuits fresh every morning before 6am. We source our eggs from a family farm in Hendricks County. Our coffee is roasted by a small Indianapolis roaster we've partnered with since the very first week.
Eight years later, not much has changed about the why. We're still here for the Tuesday-morning laptop crowd, the Saturday families, and the catering orders that feed a whole office.

From the gravy to the granola, everything on the menu is made in our kitchen. Not a walk-in. Not a commissary. Our kitchen.
Eggs from a family farm in Hendricks County, dairy from Indiana producers, and coffee from a small Indianapolis roaster we've worked with since day one.
A place you can bring your laptop on a Tuesday, linger over coffee, and be greeted by name. Broad Ripple was missing it — so we built it.

“The fried chicken biscuit is the best thing I've eaten in Indianapolis. Not an exaggeration. I drive 25 minutes from the south side specifically for it every Saturday morning.”
“Biscuit & Bean is my office on Monday mornings. Best cold brew in the city, incredibly kind staff, and the food is always perfect. This place is a treasure.”
“We ordered a catering spread for our office of 30 people and they knocked it completely out of the park. Everything was fresh, beautifully packaged, and delivered on time.”
We're at 6415 Ferguson St in Broad Ripple, open daily 7am – 3pm.
